Earth; a distant, nearly forgotten memory. Sol incinerated itself infinite lifetimes ago. An eternity has passed since the last star flickered out, with a whisper; the remnants of humanity huddling close like flies. An eternity since the last black hole closed its maw. An eternity since the universe went dark. A lone tear dripped down my cheek, onto the frozen, lifeless hull. I closed my eyes, reminiscing on the eons that had passed. I inhaled my last breath, and then I died.
